Googie

I still yearn for my Googie and almost cried today but she’s gone and Gracie is here now. She’s sleeping on the floor in the kitchen on her fake fur leopard bed. We will go to the vet today at 17.00 to have a check up. I am very happy we have her. She’s a little wiggly tail of joy.

I don’t know if you ever get over the ones you lose, and I don’t even know if you are supposed to. Getting Gracie was a big step for me, for us…I don’t regret it at all. Only on the first night I thought oh dear what have I done…but seeing her sleeping happily next to me I know we did a wonderful thing.

She’s a lovely little Pug. Every day happier, plumper, shinier and healthier.

This is one of my favourite photos of Googie. She was very very special. Very beautiful and most adored. She now lives in my heart. Grace is also wonderful they don’t need to be compared.
