Wow Really? You Can’t Be Serious!

The breeder phoned me all angry saying why didn’t I phone her and bring Gracie back if her condition was that bad?

Are you freaking kidding me? I said why in God’s name would I bring her back to the person that had let her go into such a bad condition? She said she would have let her own vet handle her for me. I said no I am not letting Gracie anywhere near you not when you let her be in such a bad state in the first place.

I had to hang up on her and wished her a good day further, her energy was stressing me out.

Now Gracie is barking after this phone call all distressed so I stop writing and see if we can both calm down.

BACK FROM WALK: We are both calmed down, she didn’t do anything outside but that’s ok, I take her outside every hour or two and more than that I don’t know, it’s the best I can do right now so we hope it works. The breeder’s voice was angry and upset at me for emailing her, saying why did I not phone her and bring the dog back. There is no way I would take Gracie back to that place nor would I leave her in that woman’s care again. I told her I was not prepared to bring a dog back that had been allowed to fall into such a bad condition. Of course that made her more angry and I got stressed from her energy so I politely (as politely as one can) hung up on her.

Just gave Gracie some softened dog bisquits, soaked in water that I put in the pan that Leo cooked his steak in last night. Oh yes Missy Grace, we are going to have a great life from now on.

p.s. I think she can see Pugsley’s ghost or something else, she keeps looking at the air intensely and barking. Hope you don’t think I’m barking mad now…
